Interests
I first got into Computer Science and programming because of my early interest in video games and my desire to learn how to make them myself. I started by learning python and making my own games using pygame and then later using the Unity engine. I have a strong interest in making my own software and sharing it with my friends.
Recently, I have grown a strong interest in Math and Statistics and am looking at getting into Data Science as well.
Since the age of 8, I started swimming regularly to overcome my fear of the water and have been swimming competitively for over half my life. I really enjoy seeing the small improvements I can achieve over time.
Computer Science
I have a lot of experience with Full-stack web development. I have done a lot using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React on the frontend. On the backend, I have used Flask with Python as well as GO on the backend with MongoDB and PSQL to work with Databases.
On the data science end, Carleton College has emphasized using R to do statistical modeling and I used R to transform data and do regression analysis. I have also began learning the Pandas python library.
For my CS IA at the end of my two-year IB program was a Swimming Repository using Netbeans and Java. I like combining stuff I am interested in to make things people can use.
